Respiratory Care Specialist

We are hiring AM and NOC Shift Respiratory Therapist that is hard working, responsible, reliable, and a team player. New graduates accepted.

REQUIREMENTS: RCP License, RRT or CRT License, BLS

JOB DESCRIPTION: Under the direction of the Lead Respiratory Therapist, performs the task of a Respiratory Care Practitioner with special emphasis on long term care. Upon the request of a physician, the Respiratory Therapist in the Critical Care Unit performs and sets up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment to be utilized in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease and or illness. The Respiratory Therapist maintains a collaborative working relationship with the unit’s clinical manager as the team leader.

SKILLS: Must be able to perform under the supervision of the Pulmonologist and RT Director, must be able to provide maintenance of artificial airways, assessing and weaning mechanical ventilated patients, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, DPI treatments, Tracheostomy tube changes, Pulse Oximetry, CPT, assisting and resolving an acute Respiratory illness, Patients and family education/training, Cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Demonstrate ability to relate appropriately and work effectively with others, and ability to prioritize multiple assignments with out sacrificing the quantity of the end product.

Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs)
